Our latest release focuses heavily on improving the Rider Portal experience — making it easier for scheduling administrators, instructors, and students to stay connected and on track. Here’s what’s new.
Daily Summary Emails for Ride Requests
One of the biggest challenges for scheduling admins is staying on top of student ride-along requests. To solve this, we’ve added a Daily Summary Email. Every morning at 7:00 AM EST, admins will automatically receive a summary of all requests submitted in the last 24 hours. Sent to the designated “Scheduling Contact” groups, this ensures that no request slips through the cracks and scheduling can move forward without delays.
Smarter Rider Management
Managing riders just became more intuitive. We corrected the button colors for enabling or disabling riders, so it’s now crystal clear who is active and who isn’t. On top of that, a new “Active/Disabled” status column has been added, with the Rider Portal prefiltered to show only active riders by default. The result: less confusion and quicker decision-making for administrators.
Clearer Communication for New Users
Creating new users should come with a smooth onboarding experience. With this update, we’ve refreshed the new user creation email to deliver clearer content and ensure that first impressions set the tone for success.
Faster Filtering in the Schedule Editor
When schedules are packed and requests are many, finding the right rider quickly is key. The Schedule Editor now supports free-text filtering, allowing admins to search by more than just job titles. Whether it’s a name, a keyword, or another detail, finding and scheduling riders is now more efficient than ever.
Improved Reporting for Instructors
Clinical coordinators and instructors also benefit from this release. The Rider Report now comes with additional filters, making it easier to find students and track their shifts and training progress. This gives instructors greater visibility into student development, all within the Rider Portal.
